Jul 2020
Oblivion, no anticipation
a slip and a fall
a loud crack
says it all
pain off the scale
to no pain at all
screams inside
no sound
unbelievable
beyond belief
no relief
wet, white face
hands like ice
sick to the teeth
silence breaks
screams
swear words heard
oblivious to the world
I'm not here
I'm somewhere else
I don't swear
its someone else!

Tripped
on the dog bowl
water on the floor
slipped and fell
legs in the air
crack
broke my leg
On Easter Sunday of all days,
and my sons 40th birthday!
Oh what a day!
Ouch broke leg 12 April 2020, now recovered but what a weird experience!
