Happy Early Father's Day,
I do so hope it's perfect in every way,
We still have a lot of work to do;
To make your day special and lovely too.
I hope you know that it's you we love,
For you're our gift from above,
You are part of God's plan;
Since you were a boy and now a man!
With kisses sweet and hugs so warm,
Never fear that thunderstorm,
You are braver than I am;
And you are Jesus' tender lamb.
Following His Will day by day,
When you're frustrated you kneel down to pray,
You're heart is big and full of love;
For you are Jesus' tender lamb from above.
Daily walking down that narrow path,
Contented with what ye hath,
Love abounds with in your heart;
And peace never doth part.
Singing hymns of melody,
Never out of tune you sing clearly,
Playing the piano you ever sing;
'Til our home abounds with your harmony that doth ring.
Stooping to smell the roses kissed with dew,
Was my Dad and that Dad was you,
Stopped to take in the beauty of the sky;
Or on the ground a cicada that doth cry.
Your poetry doth forever sing,
Like your piano that through our house did ring,
Calling away some heavenly song;
God is with you all day long.
