Lost in Confusion
I sit here now, afraid, unsure,
should make another move?
Or should I surrender?
Where would that put me and you?
I've stressed my love in many fashions,
hoping you would see the truth.
But nothing ever seems to happen,
leaving me without a clue.
I've shot for the moon and pulled it down,
but that wasn't enough for you.
So I sit here in the remaining sounds,
of a fight, a goodbye too.
The world is spinning round and round,
leaving me dazed and confused.
My feet are lifting off the ground,
as I hold the gun shot wound.
