The world’s hearts are in grief
Assurance for tomorrow needing relief
Hearts cup overfilled with sorrow
What about tomorrow?
Certainty with no answer
Racism is like a spread of Cancer
George Floyd, a young man who died in vain
Racism has gone for so long, and can’t remain
Discrimination continues to be, but change is what the world needs to see
We are all God’s creations, and we all need to get along
I pray for comfort in healing being a waiting call
The Heavenly Almighty who conquers all
Hatred is not a message to turn back
It is a time to Rise Up, Rise Up and stay on track
Father we need to know how change will begin
This is not a moment of world end
Comfort the Floyd family for peace within their soul
Through Christ, there will be a behold
Sorrow for the moment
Tomorrow a new day
God sees and understands
He controls and commands
Dry those tears
God is always near
Have no fear
Rise from despair
Continue to preserver
Encouragement to the world, God will continue to be near
Rise up Rise Up and show no fear
Hope in God is what all should hold dear.
