You Stone
You Rock
You Tower of Brick and Mortar
I’ve let you harden somewhere inside me   when I thought I was trying to dig up the   ground of my heart
Now I walk a circle around you
deepening a footpath in the dirt
alternating admiration with ashamed awkwardness
I don’t know what to do with you
You and your beautifying castle
If only you had wheels
or I had heavier heels.
