i don’t mean to sound conceited
but i know deep down you still think about me

the way you look out into the oblivion
the sense of having no idea
reminds you of my oblivious self

i regret not seeing into the future
but i should have known
we’d end up like this

no words leave your sweet lips
you’re too afraid to swallow your dignity
but i can’t hate you over my own flaw

we’re so **** stubborn
neither of us will win this love
but who could lose over a concept that’s not there

a senseless battle between two people
with no remorse to their own feelings
but only for their own pride and popularity
