He was her mentor,
Her teacher,
Her counsellor.
She looked up to him,
Her cup of admiration for him to the brim.

She never knew he was a demon in disguise,
Waiting for her to bloom in beauty,
And when she did,
He sold her to the highest bidder.

The screen of trust was ripped to shreds,
Her faith in him shattered,
Disillusioned for life she remained.

Broken, knocked down in pain and defeated she became a warrior,
Eventually she came out of the pits of hell,
A badass.
She did not rest until she avenged him.
