It's not just one step
it's a flamin' big leap
but
if you manage to keep
your balance
you'll do fine.

Sunday
nine twenty-nine,
are you still doing fine,
has it got to you yet
are you feeling the heat?

after the kitchen
where do you go?
the bathroom
the lounge
the bedroom?
I know,
we're all tired
worn out and
where the comfort zone used to be
is now a war zone,
the family that rattles me
the dog hogging the armchair
where the hell am I?

or is this just me
feeling fed up.
