Aurora borealis
The beauty of your lights calms me
You are harmony and chaos combined
My delighted soul travels freely
As the enchanting lights and quiet sky intertwined
Suddenly, nature sings in the early morning
To awaken every living creature and being
We go outside to marvel at the beautiful sky
The explosion of wild colors resembles the fireworks in the Fourth of July
A deer walks and admires the wonderful sight
Of the sky filled with captivating lights that shine so bright
In awe of the universe and nature’s divine beauty and grace
I stand and thank the aurora borealis and mutter to myself:
“It’s a great day to be alive!”
I cherish this moment and promise to look forward to better days.
