The rocks where I live
look like rocks in Gobi.

The rocks where I live
look like rocks in Oman

Dead can dance, Oh
man, did
you know Australia could produce such music?

In 2020, you can tune in to yesterday,

as if you were alive
to hear
the original broadcast, the first ripple

soft-shoe shuffle, brushes on the snare,

we are where we find our
selves shameless at our in no sense,

who knew all this is knowable by mortals

breathing on earth,
as if it were heaven, and laughing at the panic
...
happen stance, a pose you froze in

how everlong ago, it melts at the current rate,

as the carbon balance shifts to manifest,
from reserve
to burn.

Kinetic pre-servants, now friends, light up

to the cognosticaters of everjoy as a given,

for the taking, receive it, take it,
my peace I give,
no price t' pay,
nay, I'make m'own. Some time it boils over.
Been doin' so some time now, since how seemed

so easy, and easy seemed to make peace easier to make,

to my mind, as I looked into the Narcissist's pool and saw you,

laughing at my grin and my wink.
A peaceful afternoon in proper social distance
