On the first day
In fires wake
We Clutch our bleeding hearts
We hold our breath
Just to watch the life fade from our tired eyes
We sold our souls for hearts of gold
But all we found were silver lies
We braved the darkest harbors,
And drug ourselves through shallow waters,
With anchors tied around our waists
All in all we keep pressing on
To find a place to call our home
