Don't stress,
Don't rush,
Here, make your self a cup of tea,
Have some biscuits and muffins too,
You love them.
Don't worry,
What's the hurry,
The ***** dishes can wait,
Laundry and also vacuuming,
Nicely, gently slow down.
Come mum sit with me for a while,
Hold my hand,
Play with me,
Let's go for a walk,
Watch me jump in the puddles with glee.
Ask me about my day,
Let's spend some cherish moments together,
Before you know my childhood will be gone.
So mum slow down,
Have a bit of fun too,
Work will never end.
