Thunderstorm

  We’ve been avoiding each other
Trying not to collide
But there’s only so many
Places we can hide

Why does it always
Have to be this way
It’s like we’re walking on
Broken glass every day

I come home to you
I don’t know what to say
I get this feeling that it’s
Just a game you play

Like a typical spring day
The cold clashing with the warm
The clouds are moving in
I think it’s gonna storm

It’s like a thunderstorm when we fight
You’re like lightning when you strike
With your burn coming as quick as
A flash of light
And I’m like thunder when I come down
I can smash you you as I stand my ground
And our love shakes apart
As we break each other’s heart
In the wrath of a thunderstorm

Now with all the wind and rain
We’ve suffered too much damage and pain
Left alone to pick up the pieces that’s
Left from the thunderstorm

This is a song that I wrote but
Rearranged it to make it a poem.
