Day 1,

I tried to reassemble it
I searched for it
Found its pieces scattered in streets
In places where I lost myself
What is this hill in Joburg
Is this the garden of Luxembourg

I tried to fit the pieces together
But they don't match
They keep falling and breaking
My hands are shaking
My head is hurting
I don't know
I don't know

Day 2,

I tried to take it back in me
I begged God to bend this rebel heart
But it won't let me be
It says it doesn't belong to me.

Mon cœur, please take me back

Day 3,

I'll water you with my tears
I'll drape you with my dreams
I'll nurture you with my hope
I'll conquer your doubts with my faith

I'll rescue you
Even if it takes thousand moons
To reach you

Please forgive me
Forgive me I forgot you
Forgive me I forsook you
Please come home
Ode to myself, words for my heart
I could not understand my heart anymore
So I wrote to it
I decided to take it back
