The Shakes
When the night breaks you down,
and the demons screech and scratch,
hungry for the darkest parts of you
When you can't help but imagine
a world without your broken mind,
blistered soul and shaking hands
Just remember,
a million miles away,
so am I
Imagining an infinite blackness,
while shaking in the deepest darkness
Together and alone,
we will lay awake tonight
and sleep the day away
