When I hear our song
When I walk across town
When I lie awake at night
I think of you

When the girls talk of you in the halls
When the smile blooms from your lips
When the school day ends
I hear you in my head

When I glare at the empty pen and paper
When I sink in the crystalized snow
When I pretend you don't exist
I see our memories form from my eyes

All the pain you caused
Unknown from your heart
While it shattered mine
Every waking day

But you'll never read these poems
About how much I still find myself
Loving you
In this broken heart, you have torn apart
I still smile
Find the light
Because I don't want to let you down.
