A candle's flame
Flickers in the night
Countless shining stars
Show a pinhole of life

This clear, dark sky
Reflects all the light
The flame will show
Tribute to the sky

But there's whispers in the night
Can you hear them?

A cool breeze blows
Here in the valley
Skeletons of stone
Shroud in mystery
An old tree groans,
Could it be happy?

A stream rambles on
Cold and lonely
A cricket yells
Low and and hungry
An Owl screams out
Waiting on something.....
