Sparklers go off,
Light emitted,
A birthday princess,
In a dress well-fitted.

Party pipes ring,
Filling one with sound,
Leaving no one behind,
No unsmiling face around.

Knife brought out,
To cut the cake,
The very first slice,
For the princess's take.
___

Sparklers go off,
Fire everywhere,
Nothing can help,
Can only stand and stare.

Party pipes ring,
Like a siren's sound,
Hearing a shot,
And a thud to the ground.

Knife brought out,
No cake in sight,
Blood's decoration,
Is that of the night.
