As soon as they told me my heart stopped
I ran as fast as I could
for safety behind doors,

swung at the first sight
let the anger flow out
before i let the tears,

my mouth made awful sounds
as i clutched my face in pain.

have you already found another?
after all that I've been doing?
just to get you back?

i guess you didn't notice,
i was chasing you
but you were chasing her.

my fist is swollen
my eyes are swollen
my heart is swollen,
all this pain you're causing me.

I don't know how much I can deal with this,
why can't i sever the ties between me and you
i just want to be able to breathe and live
without a constant reminder of you.
