"Hold the head tight and
slit the throat..."
My old man told me once
"...Feathers need boiling water to
be plucked
Death comes first before
dying
Don't be like wolves who
drag their prey by the belly and
consume their guts and
intestines and whatever their fangs
could sink
in
to
while the prey screams
and cry to the foxes
or jackals or gods for salvation
There's too much suffering already
too much blood for too long
While most of us deny
throwing stones at
the mirror and enjoy the
illusion..."
We had warm chicken for supper that night...
