We ended up in an ugly cafe
Downtown on Sainte-Catherine street
The tired clock was ticking away
The dubious crowd and the tasteless tea

Lonely souls roaming in defeat
In a wink we were strangers no longer
Prattling and laughing, in vulnerability
In the city hay we found each other

With your wicked smile I felt I belonged
Despite some troubles in your head
Don't worry, I have issues of my own
And so, I dearly hoped to see you again
.
And again...
.
And again
