Stolen Voices
I wonder if the wind can hear
The cries from unmarked graves
People taken before their time
Doomed to be death's slaves
Those who've all gone missing
The stolen voices that remain
Trying their best to let us know
The purpose of their pain
They're buried in an barren field
Or under a giant oak tree
The places we pass everyday
With death we cannot see
Voices crying out hidden away
From deep within the ground
Hoping someone finally hears
Hoping they'll soon be found
Stolen voices are every where
The people that time forgot
A few are found and rest in peace
But most of them are not
