She sluggishly crawled towards the door
Pushed it, and hopelessly sat on the chair
With a tired look
Faintly she mumbled

Never trust a poet
Behind the creative
carefully crafted words
Lies a woven poison
hard to detect
Clocked on love
and metaphoric words

A dreaded art
used against your heart
alas, this, a true story
not voices inside thy head
