Out of these layers of existence
Your presence, is much reminisced.
Out of these layers of existence.
I beg to forget, but never regret.
Shed these layers, peel away
the scars, the years, the tears.
Out of these layers of existence
You don't have to hide anymore,
there's nothing to fear; terrified of those
true colors bleeding onto the page
and melting into the floor.
Frightened to let go, but remember
what you'll miss. Don't throw away
everything you've ever lived for.
Out of these layers of existence
take off the mask
rewind the time
forget those hateful words
just live your life
remember the strife
just live your life
not enough time
don't let it slip
by..
