Before her life could take shape
While yet unable to communicate
Unable to put into words
Her pieces unable to merge

A fluttery butterfly took flight
She was never quite right
I cry to the sky in sincerity
Mend this broken part of me

And now
I cannot bare
To face the sun
To see the effects
Of all I've done
Before she was three
I broke her and me
