"It's all about me" or so we're taught

We're taught to make a name this world won't forget

Go for  fame and fortune

Power, money, pleasure

All these material things

They don't have an ounce of meaning outside this pitiful seventy year lifespan on this earth

All good things, just turned into Gods

This pitiful seventy years isn't even a drop in the bucket of eternity

If all I do is follow this heart of selfishness,

I will end in self destruction

If I humble myself and follow the Lord of Life

I will find myself in wonder of a Heaven I couldn't even imagine

Follow Jesus

Forsake yourself

Follow Christ
