Saltwater on the fingertips
That wiped your tears away
They water your garden
These experiences have sewn you into the ground
Roots grown and unbound
You merging with you
let it grow and let it be
A giant swaying tall tree
Robust in a wind that has
Others pinned to walls of
Sleepwalking faces
We are awake around here
We suffer no illusions
Nor delusions
Because we are Alive.
