My Lady, across the Ocean,
sent me a lovely note...
Of all the things I've read
'Twas the best thing
someone has ever wrote;

She said she had some interest,
in the things I say and do,
and sent me a lovely image
of herself for me to view;

I can't help from going back,
and reading just what she wrote,
was such a simple gesture,
but my most precious note.
