You were recklessly endearing,
it was part of your charm.
you made me want to jump without fearing,
of the persistent ringing of alarm.

But when you finally gave me the valour,
to take that leap of faith.
I landed on a trap door,
and your appearance began to fade.

I called out to you in hope,
that my instincts had got it wrong.
Because deep down I'd always known,
that you were already gone.
just a poem that I wrote about being led on by someone and kind of being aware of it at the time but still allowing it to happen.
