She dresses
heedfully walks
into town the pubs
hesitantly looks
the groups, couples
but hopefully seeks
that one single
male, female doesn't matter
with a book or just staring
listening taking live in
that she doesn't feel alone
whilst ordering seating herself
that she joins from a distance
Like she always does in town
