Poems
Mar 2019
the dagger
love is a dagger
with one clean edge
entering smooth
and with charm
it quickly makes
itself at home
becoming part
of me
growing in me
living off me
love is a dagger
with one jagged edge
and when it leaves
it rips me apart
taking more
than it gives
my insides
spilling outside
and Iām eaten
over and over
by
the appetite
of the ravens
love is a dagger
teaching me
everything has
two edges
