Reflections crystalize into blackened ice
As my laughter falls like pebbled hail
Cracking the dark mirror

My face falls into the deep black
My voice follows
Fading
To silence

Light bounces upon sunken hope
The pull is an anchor to the surface
Coloured blue in crystal glass

I inhale the warming hue
My heart stutters
Breaking
Through black
