I took Sunshine
out of my pocket
and slapped it on the table

I'll have a rainstorm appetizer
With a tempest in of course
A teapot
on the side

For dinner
I'll have the chef's terrible
Surprise
With extra
family tragedy
please

A dessert of dissertion
leaving me
alone
penniless
and in the dark
will really
bring the darkness
home
to finish

Today's heartstone
unhappy meal
washed down
with your
cloying sympathy

Unconvinced
I should
Come back to this place
Wondering why I do
