If I offered it all
Upon the alter
There’d only
Be ashes left
So I hold tightly to
This fading light
With every
Gasping breath

I dreamt the dreams
And touched the touch
I’ve Stumbled through
The darkness
Of love’s tainted trust
And here upon
My own two feet
Beginning again
Who shall I meet?
Optimism
Keep's me alive!
