My tears, they fell like raindrops, as they softly hit the ground; In the midst of all my fears, I heard an awesome sound. ~ T'was a still and gentle voice, calling out to me; I knew it was my Jesus, who'd come to set me free. ~ His voice I heard quite clearly, His comfort I could feel; His Grace was most abundant, His presence was for real. ~ "My child," I heard Him tell me, "The fears that you now know; I too felt in the Garden, so many years ago. ~ I ask my Heavenly Father, if He could take this cup; Yet if it not be possible, to give me strength enough. ~ I did all I could do, and obeyed my Father's Will; You must trust in Him always, no matter how you feel. ~ I'll ease your troubled heart, and wipe away your tears; I'll give you a new Peace, you'll keep throughout your years." ~ The storm in me subsided, peace filled my heart and soul; I knew that he'd be with me, where ever I may go.
