Part1

They come out from the homes in the enchanted forest and sit in flower petals that they took so long to make
they mourn once they fall to the ground or wither
they took time weaving these petals on a fairy loom
they fly through the sky
landing on a bed of thick dark green moss
they sit there lost in thought until you come along
if you believe in them they will keep right on sitting where they're at
if not they will vanish until you're out of sight then they'll come and sit down again
at night they sing the most beautiful songs
the Fairy Queen will play on her harp the tune of the song they're singing
they dance and flitter to the tune of the Heavenly music
mingled with the song of the creek flowing on and on all night long
they'll dance under the lacy green ferns growing by the creek
they sit on the stepping stones and watch the creek flowing and singing happily
all around the earth they're singing rings
but you'd never hear it as you're asleep at night just like I
but once they've finished dancing they'll come into your room
and sing to you some sweet lullaby
through your open window they stop and sit on the window sill and sing to you while the perfume
of lilacs flits through your room
they sing to you until morning and then they glide away
so fast so soon they must fly
away from you and I
back to the creek they fly
so as soon as you awake they're not on your window sill because after they finished singing to you some sweet lullaby they flew away so you would not see them
but they always know if you're some kind person with enough magic to believe that they are real
if so they'll always sing to you some sweet lullaby sitting on your window sill
