Shrieking Silence
Oh what a dream it was!
You were there.
That same
insufferable
smile,
That same
annoyance.
And I hated you,
Didn't I?
Wanted nothing to do with you,
Didn't I?
I hated you.
I hate you.
But alas,
The light shone through the window,
And tore down my ecstasy,
You're gone,
Stuck in an endless sleep.
And I'm stuck,
In this irritating tranquillity.
