With every drag I take

My body begins to shake

For as long as I could remember

I have always looked for pleasure

A hunger that doesn’t fade

Something to keep me at bay

Whether it be pills or nicotine

I’ll never stay clean

This burning sensation

That drugs will forever be my fixation
