It's hard to remember what you've learned
When all the tables have turned
Leaving you burnt

But within those flames you found power
Like a phoenix from the ashes we rise
Flying high, at the highest tower
Watching the morning sunrise

But you never stay the same
Every now and then you change a lane
In a constant becoming
Always drumming and humming
To something

I'm not sure
That there's a cure
If I'm broken and alive
If a piece of me survived

I seem to be breathing
But am I truly okay
Am I still feeling
Or did that too fade away
