Every day
He’s on the news
This person
That I didn’t choose
I happen not to
Share his views
No I won’t watch him
I refuse

Every day
It’s battle stations
See, we’re among
The few nations
That believes in
Isolation
And policies of
Obfuscation

Every day
We’re looking to
See what that fool
Chose to do
See he he don’t have
The slightest clue
About the things
We thought he knew

Every day
The insults fly
Never mind
The reasons why
He’ll come up with
An alibi
Or another
Outright lie
