Rain’s light reflection In each puddle perfection Drops of cloud blood Dripping minor floods It rained that night She thought he might He walked away Fog got in the way No longer see his face She knew he was someone good in the human race Dark roads shimmer wet light She did not put up a fight Letting him go In hopes a relationship might take flight Rain buckets filled No more drought The air remained slightly chilled A confidence spring water was about Land soaked Bringing life to rivers and creek beds What was in their heads Thoughts of rain that springs new life In one another with no more tender strife
