Mother
Why,
Mother
have you let go?
Unfurled you fingertips
from a life;
one, I never knew.
Your lack of life,
swallow,
sleep,
repeat.
Drowning in a sea
of white capsules
and little orange bottles.
I thought of drowning myself too.
