I’m stuck in an endless spin
Brown hair reminding me of what could have been
And maybe I bit off more that I could chew
But I got restless while looking at that sky, so blue

Fell to your knees trying to recapture
Lucky *******, the ones time can’t capture
On the net, movies or between the sheets
Our love always ends up alone on the streets

And when the voices are raised
And the loving glances fade
I’ve become nothing but a broken hero who quit too late

But you know that…
In the end, I’d do it all again
I’ll save you and be you’re best friend
But darling, don’t you know this love isn’t right, it just isn’t right

I could be yours
If you arrive thirsty at my door
Cause when it rains it pours
And my heart can always take a little more

What you call love I call possessive
And seriously it’s not impressive
A bag full of promises, empty of love
On my bed floor
I put your heart in reverse

You say it is our time if I want it to be
Just point at the stars if you want to be free
But our love is anemic and you still can believe
That the end would come from me

Cause I still feel that rush through my veins
Tinkering with my head, the sound of chains
All this people in the world
Yet I cannot find anyone sane

And I still feel that rush in my veins
It twists my head just a bit too thin
All those people
In those old photographs I've seen are dead

But you know that…
In the end, I’d do it all again
I’ll save you and be you’re best friend
But darling, don’t you know this love isn’t right, it just isn’t right

I could be yours
If you arrive thirsty at my door
Cause when it rains it pours
And my heart can always take a little more

And sometimes I just sit around
And look at my feet, I’m upside down
Memories of your ***** sadness feels me up
Just like an old worn balloon
And darling …
Those are the times I know leaving you was never too soon
hit me with your best shot , i would love to hear your thoughts on this
