Daunting lights doth we see above tonight,
Wherein this summer so brisk and light,
And our hearts so hungry for love my dear,
Until the solitude and sorrows draw near.
Beloved gal with her tears upon her face,
Like a caged sparrow shackled to this place,
There must be some hope for her to flee,
And find herself in bliss and eternal glee.
