I Can Hear You
I can hear you whispering in the wind
Calling out to me
Words of love from your lips
Set all my senses free
Softly, sweetly, music to my ears
I hear you louder still
Call my name and beckon me
And all your love I feel
Your voice wakes me in the night
From my peaceful sleep
My heart hears your call
A vigil it does keep
Chills run up and down my spine
All of me smiles
Each time I hear you call my name
All across these miles
