The orchestra in my head has been playing dissonance all day Started off on one bad note
and since then I've had to pay.

The universe is reminding me that karma goes both ways
I let the "other guy" peek out
My plans end up astray

Discordant notes, climactic screams,
ohh...if it we're just another dream

But then the light
begins to wax and
I remember to relax
and breathe

Now the orchestra gets
tuned and warm
Finally see a sun
instead storm

A mellifluous chorus pours in from the rain
Sometimes we just have
to take the pain
when the light again
begins to wane.
I had big plans for today but had to refocus after it started out on a sour nite
