Today is three quarters way along the highway
tomorrow's another mile
tonight I'll sleep with the stars overhead
with the moonbeams to give me a smile.

An easy option but no sinecure
to lay down free
desperately poor

so many free not free at all
Marley
chain and cannon ball.

I'm puzzled now as to how things go
and want to do not want to know
which is the case
when one cannot face
the things we cannot see.
