The bricks that fall
On my bare head,
Remind me of the life
That you and I led,
A striving existence
Of pain and dread,
I’m holding you,
As I bleed to death,

I can’t do this,
I need a free mind,
The shackles that hold me
Whilst you’re still inside,
I’ll destroy myself if I must,
I will not abide,
My existence is mine
And you will not reside,

The bricks that fall
On my bare head,
Once held me up
Where I was misled,
A striving existence
Of pain and dread,
I want the dark,
I want the dark
