Casket
People are quick to send your family condolences
Quick to say “sorry for your loss”
Feeling bad for you
but smile as long as it wasn’t their loss
Hold off on sending you roses while you are alive
But quickly stuff them in your casket
When you pass
The love they fail to express while you are alive
Becomes the regret that inspires the tears In their eyes
