Poems
May 2018
Fallen
She drags her feet effortlessly up the
shining steps
Lifting her higher
and closer to regret
How does such an entity within have so much
grace,
yet seem so corrupt with power?
If there is something deeper,
deep within then perhaps the gates
should open
letting the river flow in
Or perhaps she shall retrace her steps
and fall back on what she knew
and relearn
how to live it
